Job Description
Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice - 2nd Shift. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Apprentice will receive on-the-job training to: learn how to repair, maintain, perform preventive/predictive maintenance, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment, systems and components, including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers; learn proper operation of industrial wastewater treatment systems and wash alley equipment; perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping; adhere to Cintas' health and safety policies and procedures while learning to perform all duties. This is a training position to allow the individual to compete for advancement upon completion of the program.
Skills/Qualifications
Required
- Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English
- General knowledge and skills that demonstrates good mechanical background
- Ability to stand for up to 7 hours of an 8 hour shift
- Basic Microsoft Office computer skills
- High School Diploma/GED
Preferred
- Maintenance knowledge - sufficient formal or informal training to perform the duties of this position
- Any combination of general maintenance, building maintenance, equipment maintenance, automotive maintenance, construction, plumbing, electrical, and military experience is acceptable
- Experience with formalized safety programs preferred, such as Lock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space, OSHA Awareness, Technical School Courses or Ladder Safety

Compensation
This compensation information is a good faith estimate and provided in accordance with California local city or state law. Similar positions located outside of this jurisdiction may not necessarily receive the same compensation.
The base salary generally ranges between $21.07 - $25.47/Hour. This range is an estimate based on an applicant’s skills and experience.
