What You'll Do:
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will assist with the maintenance and upkeep of our facility. Your work will play a vital role in ensuring the physical well-being and safety of our residents
Key Responsibilities for a Maintenance Assistant:
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs, to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and systems throughout the facility
- Help maintain the exterior grounds of the facility, including landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, and outdoor maintenance, to create a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment for residents, staff, and visitors
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on facility equipment, such as elevators, generators, and fire safety systems, to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and the safety of residents and staff
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment, monitoring usage and replenishing stock as needed to support maintenance operations and minimize downtime
- Collaborate with other departments, including nursing, housekeeping, and administration, to address maintenance-related issues, respond to resident requests, and support the overall functioning of the facility

Rate of Pay:Up to USD $22.00/Hr.-:
What You'll Bring:
Qualifications of a Maintenance Assistant:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in maintenance or related field preferred
- Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or related field, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting
- Knowledge of basic maintenance principles, techniques, and tools, with proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision, while maintaining a strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Commitment to upholding safety standards, regulatory compliance, and ethical conduct in all aspects of maintenance operations
