Key Responsibilities:
- General Maintenance: Perform a variety of maintenance tasks on buildings and grounds, including landscaping and fleet upkeep.
- Safety First: Maintain facilities and fleet to ensure they are safe, clean, and operational at all times.
- Tool Proficiency: Utilize hand and power tools effectively and safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate clearly and follow directions from supervisors, working cooperatively with team members.
- Routine Tasks: Assist with routine maintenance and handyman tasks, demonstrating your versatility and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- Experience Required: Previous experience in maintenance or handyman work is essential.
- Valid Driver''s License: Must possess a valid driver''s license with an insurable driving record.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledgeable: Basic understanding of tools, lawn care equipment, and snow removal equipment is preferred.
- Compassionate: Must be comfortable working in the same area as individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Personable Attitude: A friendly and polite demeanor, with the ability to relate well to others.
- Judgment Skills: Ability to exercise sound judgment and follow directions effectively.
