Maintenance Assistant - Momentous Health at Vandalia

Responsibilities Include:

• Completes and oversees facility projects as directed

• Helps ensure resident rooms are neat and in order in a timely fashion

• Assists with audits and inspections as dictated by Department of Health and Life Safety Code requirements

• Other tasks as assigned by Administrator and/or Director of Environmental Services

Minimum Requirements:

• Nursing home experience preferred

• Basic handyman skills and knowledge

• Basic computer skills including email

• Written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to respect all members of the healthcare team

• Solid work history with excellent attendance and punctuality

• Patience, understanding and compassion for those requiring our care
