Shift: Saturday - Monday 6PM - 6AM
Starting Pay: $21.00 PER HOUR
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Maintenance Athlete I (Maintenance Associate), you will be responsible for assisting experienced maintenance employees with inspection, evaluation, and repair of machinery along with other things needing repair. You’ll work in a comfortable climate-controlled environment where safety is our top priority. We’re also committed to helping you make sport a daily habit so our DCs also offer onsite gyms. + Retrieving tools and repairing parts as needed.
+ Doing supervised repairs and basic preventive maintenance of lift truck batteries, balers, eye wash stations and minor wood working projects.
+ On occasion tasked with light plumbing and non-skilled electrical work, including changing light bulbs.
+ Conducting minor preventive maintenance on smaller equipment to include changing V-belts, belt lacing, take-up adjustments, and minor lubrication tasks.
+ Monitoring material movements in product zones and clearing jams.
+ Maintaining cleanliness in the worksites shop and on the DC floor when repairs are complete.
+ Performing administrative tasks to support maintenance record keeping in CMMS and spare parts storerooms.
+ Participating in safety training, skills training, and process improvement meetings.
+ Ensuring work is completed using appropriate safety guidelines.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Inspection, evaluation, and repair of machinery and other things needing repair. Retrieves tools and repair parts as needed. Basic preventive maintenance of lift truck batteries, balers, eye wash stations and minor wood working projects. May be tasked with light plumbing duties, and non-skilled electrical work to include changing light bulbs. Preventive maintenance on smaller equipment to include changing V-belts, belt lacing, take-up adjustments, and minor lubrication tasks. Monitoring material movements in product zones, and clearing jams. Cleans up worksite locations in the shop, and on the DC floor when repairs are complete. Performs administrative tasks to support maintenance record keeping in CMMS and spare parts storeroom locations. Participation in safety training, skills training, and process improvement meetings.
WHAT YOU BRING
+ Prior work experience in a general maintenance capacity
+ Minimum of 6 months’ work experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment - Preferred
+ Prior work experience in a hands-on maintenance working environment, including the use of basic powered and non-powered hand tools - Preferred
+ Experience or certifications operating powered motor vehicles (PMV) or lift equipment – Preferred
