Maintenance - Bushnell, IIL
- This position is on 3rd Shift.
Position Summary
The Maintenance classification performs daily maintenance of the plant including preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
Job Responsibilities :
+ Performs daily, weekly, monthly maintenance tasks as per check lists
+ Fabricates various items primarily from steel and cuts, heats, drills and welds
+ Repairs plant equipment
+ Performs plant electrical work with various voltages up to 440 volts 3 phase
+ Replaces electrical motors ranging from fractional horsepower motors up to 200 HP or more
+ Repairs plant piping with various diameters of pipe
+ Performs boiler tests
+ Performs lubrication of plant equipment
+ Clean shop as needed
+ Follow all safety, GMP, plant rules and policies
+ Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Plant Manager
Requirements :
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence
+ Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
+ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
+ Good mechanical ability and aptitude. On-the-job training is provided
