Maintenance Director - Garden Park Health Care Center

Overview:
Garden Park Care Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to lead and manage all aspects of our facility's maintenance and safety programs. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our building and property, contributing to the overall comfort and safety of our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight of the physical building, grounds, and equipment.
• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program.
• Oversee building repairs and ensure compliance with safety regulations, including NFPA 99 standards.
• Manage and lead the maintenance team in daily operations, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and projects.
• Maintain an up-to-date safety program, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-starter mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with staff, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
• Hands-on experience or knowledge in electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems (preferred).
• Familiarity with NFPA 99 and other relevant safety and maintenance regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management abilities.

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare facility is required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and management teams to ensure smooth facility operations.
