We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Director to oversee all maintenance operations at our nursing home located in Wesminster, CA. The Maintenance Director will be responsible for ensuring the facility is safe, well-maintained, and compliant with all relevant regulations. This position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing a high standard of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation of the facility.
• Conduct regular inspections of the nursing home to identify areas requiring maintenance or repair.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for larger maintenance projects.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, and oversee purchasing as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain records accordingly.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff, and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Budget management and cost control measures to optimize maintenance operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to support the overall mission and goals of the nursing home.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Director or similar role, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance processes.
• Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
