About the Job
Georgia-Pacific is seeking a self-motivated Maintenance Electrician with a strong electrical background to join our team at the Green Bay Broadway facility on a 12-hour swing shift. This position requires a thorough understanding of safe work practices and expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing equipment and processes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting maintenance efforts and contributing to our reliability vision of ensuring equipment operates as designed and runs predictably. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

The Green Bay Broadway Mill manufactures and distributes leading commercial and retail brands of paper products (bath tissue, napkins, and towels). The mill has about 1,725 mill employees and about 600 business support employees who provide engineering, transportation, data processing, and customer services. What You Will Do
- Repairing and maintaining electrical equipment
- Reading and interpreting schematics to troubleshoot and install equipment
- Completing preventative, corrective, and unplanned maintenance tasks
- Adhering to plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures while supporting the vision of creating an environment where no one can ever get hurt
- Communicating with all levels of the organization, i.e.; via reports, e-mail, verbally, and/or in small/large group settings, in a team environment
- Installing and calibrating instrumentation equipment, i.e.; Pressure Transmitters, Level Transmitters, Flow Transmitters, Temperature Transmitters, and Consistency Transmitters.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- One or more of the following:
- Minimum of three (3) years of electrical experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment
- Journeyman Electrician with manufacturing experience
- A minimum of a two (2) year technical degree in an electrical or instrumentation field
- Completion of an apprenticeship program
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing various types of industrial electrical equipment
- Experience repairing, troubleshooting, and programming PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and operator interfaces
- Experience with power distribution infrastructure
- Electrical Maintenance experience in the Paper Industry
