About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. This role involves working on electrical controls, equipment, and wiring, performing tasks such as testing, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of electrical components. The ideal candidate will be proficient in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with a strong understanding of PLC programs and troubleshooting.
Duties:
Including but not limited to:
• Develop and implement electrical systems for new and used equipment, and enhance building processes.
• Work with robotic automation and create PLC programs for equipment integration.
• Perform installation and maintenance of production machines and plant equipment.
• Provide emergency and scheduled repairs for production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Read equipment manuals and work orders for fabricating and installing components.
• Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment as needed.
• Report any faulty operations or defective materials to supervision.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean workspace.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience with strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills, along with some PLC experience.
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Associate's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• National Career Readiness Certificate preferred.
Working Conditions:
• Frequent exposure to foundry like environment (high heat, dust, etc.)
• Some jobs require an employee to work outdoor in unfavorable climate.
• May be asked to travel within or out of the continental united states
