Maintenance / Electronic Technician - Oxford Solutions, Inc

Oxford Solutions is partnering with an industrial production company seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians and Electronic Technicians to ensure the efficiency, safety, and reliability of production operations. This role is perfect for candidates with a background in industrial maintenance, mechanical repairs, or electronic troubleshooting, including those with a Journeyman card. Candidates should be comfortable working rotating shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of machinery, electrical, and electronic equipment.
• Maintain and ensure operational status of electronic/electrical and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring smooth production processes.
• Program and troubleshoot production line issues at Level 1 and Level 2.
• Install, assemble, and align machinery components to minimize wear and tear.
• Evaluate and implement improvements to equipment, focusing on reducing maintenance costs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities.
• Provide technical support and recommendations for equipment improvements.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Electronics, Mechanical Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• 10+ years' experience in industrial electrical/electronic maintenance or 3+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
• Journeyman Machine Repairman or Journeyman Millwright card preferred.
• Proficient in PLC codes (AB and/or Siemens), AC/DC motor theory, and VFD knowledge (Allen Bradley/Siemens and/or ABB).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting, including power transmission, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Familiarity with low voltage control circuit troubleshooting.
• Experience with SAP and proficiency with Microsoft applications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work effectively in a team environment.
• Superior problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
