Familiarity with maintenance craft processes, production equipment and systems, and maintenance and construction practices.
Working knowledge of hydraulics, power transmission, metallurgy, tribology, manufacturing practices, preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
Knowledge of paper manufacturing processes desirable.
Work Environment
This job operates in a production environment. The employee is exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors.
Physical Demands
The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, climb and/or balance, to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, enter confined spaces, scale heights, is exposed to extreme temperatures, and the needs to have the ability lift up to 50lbs.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, with overtime as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience: Five (5) years relevant experience in maintenance and/or project work.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
Employment Terms
Full time, Exempt position
Salary range: $120,000-145,000 DOE.
Excellent benefits package including medical, dental, life, and long-term disability insurance.
2 weeks paid vacation or more depending on position.
Full-time employees receive 160 hours of sick leave upon hire then earn eight hours of sick leave per month.
9 paid holidays and one paid personal holiday per calendar year.
