We are seeking a Maintenance/Facility Supervisor.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
Lead team of facility maintenance employees to support daily production and project needs. Develop and implement predictive/preventive maintenance protocol for all facets of production equipment and facility infrastructure for Multi Building Campus. Support CSI cross-location common practice use of the eMaint computerized maintenance management database. Support development and adherence to safety programs. Support the Engineering Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with environmental programs and reporting.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
- Lead facility maintenance team. Implement and manage effective preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and useful life of production machinery (machining centers, fabrication equipment, welding robots, press brakes, welding machines, turning centers, assembly tools, etc.)
- Actively support facility-related implementation for NPD launches, Ops Initiatives, and other project work as a part of the ongoing continuous improvement and growth strategy of the company. In a team environment, identify waste and implement changes to yield measurable improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
- Define goals, prioritize actions, motivate associates, monitor results, and complete performance evaluations on-time for maintenance team.
- Participate in and direct the priorities of the RKD Safety Committee to include CSI cross-location collaboration on best practice sharing.
- Support and reinforce workplace safety processes as defined by OSHA, government regulations, industry standards, and Company policy. Maintain SDS documentation.
- Participate in accident/incident investigations and assist production supervisors in determining root cause and corrective actions. Direct maintenance team to support implementation of corrective actions.
- Train and coach employees in safety procedures. Observe daily work to ensure that workers conform to safety policy and take action to remove safety hazards. Leverage the Safety Observation process to reinforce safe work practices.
- Maintain all operating licenses in good standing. When needed, support sampling, compiling test reports, and submitting required information to appropriate agencies.
WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: Involvement and support for the Lean transition through Kaizen, 3P, Daily Continuous Improvement Activity and 6S. Knowledge of OSHA, EPA and DEP regulations and requirements. Knowledge of CMMS software packages such as eMaint to establish and maintain machine and facility maintenance programs. Computer experience including Word, Excel, CAD, CNC and Solid Works. Leadership/supervisory skills in a team environment.
EDUCATION: Minimum Requirements: Associates or two-year Technical degree in Facility/Equipment Maintenance or greater than 10 years related experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Technical degree in Health & Safety a plus. Technical Military training also acceptable. Computer skills including Excel, Word, etc.
EXPERIENCE: Experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to shop floor processes. Proven experience managing employees and working in a team environment. Clear and concise communication skills. Mechanically inclined and self-motivated.
