Description: Our Client Is Currently Seeking A Maintenance Lead for Its Facility in Northern New York
This Is A Direct Hire Role
Candidates Must Have Previous Maintenance Manufacturing Experience
This Is A Hands On Opportunity
A Strong Mechanical Background Is Needed
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, repair, modify and perform preventative maintenance on all hydraulic systems, electrical units, controls, components, and related wiring with adherence to all safety regulations
Moving and installing existing or new equipment
Perform preventive/routine maintenance on compressors, fork trucks, oilers, and filters
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, facility, and equipment
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Commercial facility maintenance a plus
Qualifications & Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of mechanic experience.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with other people in a team environment
Ability to learn new concepts quickly and work independently
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment.
Repair equipment as quickly as possible when a failure occurs.
Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team
