About the Job
Maintenance Manager (Giorgio Foods Inc., Blandon, PA): Lead a high-performance team, including specialized technicians and engineering team that are responsible for ensuring that the machines run optimally and efficiently; Oversee the upkeep and upgrade to the entire facility; Oversee the maintenance and engineering department; Implement maintenance programs; Manage cost saving projects and ensure the safety, reliability and efficiency of the food processing plant; Develop and execute PM programs to extend the life of key equipment; and Monitor proper seamer adjustment/calibration to ensure high quality semifinished product. Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Experience with Microsoft Tools; AutoCad; SAP; PLC Programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens); Experience with Food Thermal Process; Food Safety; HACCP; SQF; Shelf-stable heat-processed low acid food processing; High Speed food can seaming; Continuous Rotary Pressure Cooking and Cooling Systems; and High Pressure Sterilizing systems. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field, and at least 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager, Production Engineer or related occupation.
