Wollaston Alloys/CPP Boston is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our Operations team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Maintenance Manager works closely with positions across the organization such as Engineers, Maintenance Mechanics and technical contractors, managing and assisting in the completion of day-to-day activities, involving the maintenance of the building/facility, equipment and machinery including HVAC, lighting systems, ovens, grounds keeping, security and overall facility appearance.

Major Responsibilities:
- Manages, supervises and executes maintenance as well as support activities.
- Assists with site environmental conformance as well as hazardous material programs.
- Maintains adequate inventories of tools, supplies and parts to accurately repair all equipment.
- Maintains systems to supervise service requests promptly complying with safety requirements.
- Conducts preventive maintenance work.
- Ensures machinery is inspected regularly with respect to safety issues inclusive but not restricted to ground and trip hazards, non-functioning lights, broken pieces along with exposed wiring.
- Conduct proper follow-through on all maintenance issues.
- Plans and manages capex projects that improve plant performance and safety.
- Addresses maintenance issues in timely way working with maintenance staff.
- Plans maintenance employees' schedules as per forecasted workloads.
- Ensures compliance to company safety and security standards, procedures and policies.
- Ensures maintenance personnel wears and utilizes all safety equipment correctly as needed.
- Conduct safety inspections as scheduled and complete accurately as required.
- Establishes priorities, goals and expectations to prepare action strategies and plans to accomplish same working with team.
- Comply with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
- Attendance
- Work on/participate in special projects as needed or assigned by Management
- 5+ years supervisory experience in an industrial maintenance environment - preferably manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of systems (electrical, heating, HVAC, PLC etc.)
- Prior experience developing budgets and engaging in performance management activities
- Proficient MS Office suite of software (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point. etc.)
- Ability to multi-task is critical for this position
- Excellent written, verbal & presentation communications skills
- Strong commitment and focus on safety
