About the Job
Seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Maintenance Manager at Fluke Health Solutions, located in Glenwood, Illinois. In this role, you will lead a team of maintenance technicians to oversee maintenance for operations and facilities. The Maintenance Manager aims to minimize downtime and optimize production processes through preventive and corrective maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead and oversee a team of maintenance and facility technicians with a commitment to upholding rigorous safety standards and their capability to proficiently handle various maintenance tasks.
+ Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy to optimize the performance of our facilities and equipment.
+ Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues and take proactive measures to prevent downtime.
+ Determine the root causes of equipment failures and develop effective solutions to minimize future occurrences.
+ Work closely with teams from different departments to effectively implement new equipment installations or upgrades.
+ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment performance, repairs, and costs.
+ Manage the maintenance budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.
Qualifications:
+ Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or a similar role in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
+ Extensive knowledge of effective maintenance methods, including strategies for prevention, repair, and upkeep
+ Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
+ Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
+ Proven track record to handle budgets and control maintenance costs.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
+ Knowledge of safety regulations.
+ Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
+ Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques.
+ Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering background.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
+ Work is performed in a manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery and equipment noise.
+ Must be available for on-call duties and emergency response outside regular working hours.
+ Ability to stand, walk, and move around the facility for extended periods.
+ Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 40 lbs. as needed.
