Position Summary:
We're looking for a Maintenance Manager to oversee equipment maintenance, facility maintenance and reliability initiatives within the manufacturing plant in a continuous improvement-based and a safe work environment. This person would be responsible for training, supervising, and mentoring department personnel including Maintenance Supervisors, Buyers, Planners, Reliability Engineers, and maintenance technicians of various levels. The Maintenance Manager is to assure full and consistent compliance with the Companies Policies about, Customer Satisfaction, the Principles of SQF (Safe Quality Foods) and Regulatory Requirements. All associates are responsible to report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

What You'll Do:
- Collaborates on the design, implementation and maintenance of the plant's Lockout Tagout program
- Owns and drives accountability for OEE and other plant metrics
- Uses metrics/data to evaluate and improve maintenance technical processes and plant leadership procedures
- Ensures and monitors maintenance efficiency
- Plans and establishes work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet performance standards
- Uses standard work processes to ensure repeatable performance
- Monitors maintenance and leadership goals and levels to make sure they are consistent with performance standards
- Collaborates with other managers and supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments
- Oversees the review of invoices, work orders, consumption reports, or demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments
- Oversees the inspection of physical conditions of the facility, warehouses, equipment, maintenance, repairs, or replacements
- Supports the creation and the execution of the Annual Capital Plan
- Ownership for site parts inventories, parts management and technical relationships with vendors.
- Key leader in current and future energy-reduction efforts and sustainability initiatives.
- Supports and executes formal processes for Project execution and integration into daily operations
- Lead, train and partners with Corporate and others sites in the use of TPM-based CI improvement tools including a wide range of Early Management tools, Autonomous maintenance, Root Cause Analysis, Reliability-Centered Maintenance and Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Integrates safety, quality, and environmental policies into all relevant maintenance systems and daily work execution.Support all environmental and regulatory program and goals.Supports through long and short-term volume and mix adjusted plant cost commitments
- Monitors and accomplishes all Maintenance budgetary goals and savings projects/activities including Labor, Parts and Outside Repairs
- Develops, improves and monitors appropriate TPM and RCM based metrics
- Develops, improves and ensures the use of a formal Maintenance Planning Process centered on Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Builds a high-performance maintenance team by selecting, developing, coaching, managing and holding team members accountable
- Performs additional related duties as assigned
Who You Are:
- Passionate about safety and quality.
- Experience managing and implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programs
- Experience developing and driving performance through the use of appropriate KPIs (MTBF, schedule compliance, PM completion)
- Experience with MRO best practices (KPIs, cost savings, criticality assessments, vendor management, etc.)
- Demonstrated continuous improvement experience. Leading or facilitating Kaizen events related to optimizing maintenance/MRO systems.
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis required.
- Strong communication skills, relationship and team building, constructive conflict, accountability, etc.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Engineering strongly preferred.
- 3+ years in a reliability and/or maintenance leadership role preferably in the food and beverage processing industry
- Knowledge of advanced principles in plant operations
- Demonstrated experience Leading and developing teams and individuals.
- Ability to work within an integrated operating enterprise
- Ability to manage team members in executing complex programs
- Ability to work a variable schedule
- Knowledge of RCM preferred
- Experience and knowledge of PSM preferred
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment and/or environmental impact experience preferred
- FMEA experience preferred
- Capital and project management experience preferred
- Process Safety Management experience preferred (i.e, ammonia)
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities consistent with the essential duties and responsibilities
- Must be able to walk, stand, crawl, stoop, bend, crouch over periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
