About the Job
We are currently working with an OEM in your area that is looking for a qualified Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Manager will effectively lead the maintenance team to ensure safety, quality & productivity are maintained at the highest levels.
Primary Functions and Duties:
• Planning, implementing, and following-up on all production maintenance.
• Ensure all equipment meets all safety requirements and that all jobs are performed in accordance with company safety guidelines.
• Reviewing and approving maintenance plans for production equipment and plant facilities; ensuring all maintenance plans are completed.
• Establishing maintenance strategies for scheduled shutdowns and major repairs.
• Addressing immediate actions in the event of unexpected failures and emergency repairs.
• Analyzing, evaluating, and authorizing modifications to equipment to reach optimal operating conditions and to reduce costs and energy consumption.
• Assist with mechanical and electrical trouble shooting.
• Ensuring inventory of parts, equipment, and materials are at an optimal level; establishing VMI for maintenance parts and supplies where applicable.
Required Qualifications: • Strong MS Office skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel required. Must be able to perform data analysis with using Pareto and other statistical tracking methods.
• Minimum 2 year Associates Degree with at least 5 years of production experience required.
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or Associate Degree with 10-15 years of equivalent work experience.
• Lean Six Sigma methodology with a TPM focus is a plus.
• Ability to provide root cause failure analysis.
• Extensive experience in PLC’s and equipment controls highly desired.
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering principles and practices.
• Proven ability in TPM, SMED, 5S and OEE metrics.
• Significant experience in developing preventative/predictive maintenance programs.
Monday to Friday, 8-5 pm, some nights and weekends required.
The salary range is $120-130k
Position is ON-SITE
