MAINTENANCE MANAGER
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of preventative maintenance, CMMS, continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing and be familiar with Ammonia refrigeration. Experience working in a food manufacturing environment is required.
The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Manager is to oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment in the facility. This includes preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, budgeting, inventory, the ammonia refrigeration system, CMMS system and overall reliability. The Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance plans, managing the maintenance budget, training maintenance technicians, wastewater and plant infrastructure. The maintenance manager will work with all plant departments on continuous improvement and the implementation of Lean and the future of TPM.
- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering a related field, OR at least 15 years of solid maintenance management experience in a food manufacturing facility.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in maintenance management, with 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- The candidate must be proficient in the use of CMMS software for preventative maintenance scheduling, inventory tracking and reporting.
- Strong understanding of ammonia refrigeration - does not need to be certified but should have managed a facility with the capability.
- Experience mentoring, managing and leading a maintenance team
