About the Job
Due to an upcoming retirement, we have a GREAT OPPORTUNITY for a Maintenance Manager for our client's largest plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager you will lead a team of up to 15 maintenance techs in a 3 shift paint operation with 2 robotic paint lines. Customer industries include automotive, marine and heavy truck.
As Maintenance Manager-Paint Operations you will:
- Establish departmental goals to support production, program launches, and strategic initiatives
- Lead the Maintenance team to achieve KPI targets
- Maintain the manufacturing assets of the plant
- Provide training and continuous improvement development of the Maintenance team
- Drive Preventive and Predictive Maintenance
- Develop and maintain associate safety standards
- Support ISO14000 and IATF standards
Your strengths to be successful should include:
- Associates degree or a Journeyman Card preferred
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
- Automotive manufacturing painting operations experience a MUST
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment including paint lines, moving conveyors. robots and automation
- Experience with PLC controls
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule when needed
