Summary/objective: Advanced Tooling Systems (ATS) is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Manager to join its team at 555 Plymouth Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI. The maintenance manager is responsible for addressing all facility and equipment maintenance issues and must be a hands-on manager who can also help teach the company's maintenance technicians.
Essential functions:
Perform all maintenance activities, whether preventative, scheduled or unscheduled.
- Maintain the maintenance schedule.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers and co-workers.
- Pursue facility and equipment improvement as appropriate.
Perform equipment inspection.
Follow all safety rules and report unsafe work conditions to management.
Candidate must be willing to come in early, and stay late as needed.
Required competency, education, and experience:
Must have 10 years or more of experience in a maintenance position.
Must have a basic understanding of common shop maintenance requirements.
Candidate must have high school or equivalent education.
- Candidate must have a valid driver's license.
- Candidate must have knowledge of stamping press repair.
- Electrical, CNC machine, and controls knowledge is a plus.
Work environment: Manufacturing environment.
Physical demands:
Must have use of all limbs
Must be able to lift 40 pounds
Position type and expected hours of work: Full time.
Travel: None.
