Maintenance Mechanic - 1st Shift
A successful specialty chemical manufacturer is in need of a Maintenance Mechanic to perform the following:
- Perform preventive maintenance procedures on a variety of specialized pharmaceutical manufacturing and general mechanical equipment and utilities.
- Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment, plan for and take corrective action.
- Provides repair, fabrication, and general labor services throughout all areas.
- Executes maintenance tasks from written procedures or instructions.
- Executes work Instructions for Preventative Maintenance for new or existing equipment utilizing manufacturer's data, experience, or assessments.
- Provides training within specific skill set(s), to staff for the purpose of ensuring a broad base of knowledge within the group.
- Documents all work performed per the appropriate documentation system.
- Conducts investigations for quality systems as assigned.
- Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:15 AM - 2:30 PM
Requirements
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- 3+ years’ experience in the Maintenance Field performing duties as listed above
- Ability to read and work from prints and schematics.
- Basic Reading, Writing, Verbal and Mathematic Skills
- Advanced use of tools and equipment
- Must possess good manual dexterity and visual acuity
- Ability to lift or move 25-49 pounds
