About the Job
Local Manufacturer is seeking Maintenance Mechanic for a full time, second shift position working Monday through Friday from 3:30PM- 12:00am (or when the job is done for the day)
Overtime is also required as needed.
Preventative maintenance, machine repair and troubleshooting of industrial equipment
Maintenance of conveyors belts, sensors, boilers, other equipment as needed
Grounds upkeep outside, snow removal in the winter
Record electrical/ maintenance issues on batch record downtime reports
Assist mechanics on product/ size changeovers & trouble shooting events
Find ways to increase productivity/ reduce downtime/automate processes
Update electrical/ maintenance schematics/ SOP’s as needed
Understanding of industrial equipment in manufacturing environment
Repair, install, upgrade new and existing equipment
Identify safety, quality concerns which may impact the safety of the employees and quality of the product
Requirements:
Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must be able to pass preemployment background check
3+ experience in repairing and troubleshooting industrial equipment and machinery
Capable of troubleshooting electrical controls, PLC's and related mechanical issues
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Exceptional communication skill and time management required
Must have reliable transportation
Attention to detail
Sense of urgency
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly
