No experience is required for this position, however, if you have experience in manufacturing, specifically, experience in steel, forging, or machining you will definitely stand out! This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level industrial maintenance mechanic.
An ideal candidate is someone that is organized, self-motivated, and able to complete tasks unsupervised.
In this role, we'll be looking for someone that has basic industrial electrical troubleshooting knowledge – basic schematics, PLC knowledge, fuse sizing and VOM usage skills.
We are looking for someone that is familiar with 120v single phase to 480v 3 phase systems, has a basic understanding of hydraulics, and can interpret blueprints, read gauges, drill & tap holes, and has the ability to use industrial hand tools.
Other responsibilities include cutting torch and welding skills, inspecting for defects, misalignment, wear, and insufficient lubrication, diagnosing and repairing activities, and determining materials and replacement parts needed to proceed with repairs, maintenance, and rebuilds.
