Maintenance Mechanic - Electrical at TRC Talent Solutions

Our client is hiring for a seasoned Electrical Maintenance Technician in the Blauvelt, NY region to support their production equipment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

• Perform inspections and repairs production equipment such as gearboxes, pumps, air/hydraulic cylinders and lines, process rolls, reclaim and extrusion equipment, and utilities equipment such as air compressors and water chillers systems
• Troubleshoot and repair 480 volt 3-phase motors and controls
• Diagnose and troubleshooting failures on equipment
• Troubleshoot, PMs and repairs of buildings, equipment and installed systems to include: extrusion, thermoforming, printing machinery, grinders, blowers, plumbing systems, roofs, drains, shop, and grounds equipment
• Clean, lubricate, and service a wide variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems
• Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, piping, floors and equipment
• Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems such as fire alarm systems, fire pumps and related fire protection system equipment as assigned

What you need to be successful:

• At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience (mechanical and electrical) in a production or heavy industrial environment
• Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance
