Maintenance Mechanic
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining production equipment. This hands-on role requires expertise in mechanical operations, welding, fabrication, blueprint reading, basic carpentry, and mathematics. The Maintenance Mechanic will diagnose issues and perform maintenance on a variety of heavy industrial machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain production equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs promptly.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on industrial equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
- Utilize welding and fabrication skills as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in industrial settings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in fabrication and welding.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability for a 1st shift, 2nd or 3rd schedule on a 4 days on, 4 days off rotation.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and be on-call as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
