Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our Slag Plant and Terminal located in Cape Canaveral, FL.

What You'll Get To Do
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintenance and repair of plant equipment.
- Will diagnose malfunctions in a cement plant.
- Responsible for daily inspection of facilities and will complete maintenance checklist.
- Will operate a front-end loader when needed.
What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2-4 years of maintenance experience required
- Experience working at a cement plant highly preferred
- Must have stick welding and cutting torch experience
- Experience with industrial application motors, gearboxes, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, bucket elevators, etc.
- Will operate heavy equipment (loader and excavator) when needed
- Must have experience operating heavy equipment
This position is Full-Time Middle Shift.
