Job Details
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.
- Perform PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics and technical drawings.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Identify and implement improvements to equipment to increase machine reliability and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and other related activities as assigned.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot more complex machine problems and implement solutions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in food/beverage environment.
- Proven experience with PLC troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings.
- Proficient with hand and power tools, as well as precision measurement tools.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy objects, and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours as needed.
