WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Facility Maintenance Millwright Technicians play a critical role in the maintenance and upkeep of all production/facility equipment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and making necessary repairs on all equipment and facilities as needed to provide a safe work environment.
Ensuring our facilities run smoothly by following our preventative maintenance schedule, troubleshooting electrical/mechanical issues, keeping parts stocked, and responding quickly to repair requests. Candidates must be safety-minded, have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, and can prioritize work assignments.

- Performs complex periodic preventive maintenance on automated and other production systems and equipment using knowledge of solid-state circuitry, electronics, electrical-mechanical devices, motors, wiring diagrams, schematics, computers, etc.
- Troubleshoots, repairs, aligns, calibrates, inspects, and tests various production lines and equipment.
- Programs logic controls for proper equipment operation.
- Ensures quality and consistency in production processes by assessing, modifying, and/or calibrating equipment.
- Ensures efficiency and productivity by evaluating and modifying production processes and/or equipment.
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves issues with equipment, devices, or products; makes adjustments using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Assists the Production/Plant Manager with tasks related to developing, constructing, and evaluating prototypes, new products, operations, and/or procedures.
- Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
- Reads and interprets schematics and equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service.
- Ensures work orders for repair are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintains records to ensure accountability of time, parts, and repairs to meet regulatory compliance and budget constraints.
- Installs and performs diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.
- Performs preventative maintenance for the facility according to schedule.
- Communicates with management and other maintenance personnel on a timely basis to facilitate maintenance and repairs.
- Makes repairs to tools and equipment as needed.
- Uses hand and power tools and ensures tools and equipment are maintained and repaired.
- Cleans and assists with the upkeep of the facilities.
- Complies with company safety policies and maintains clean and orderly work area and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures, including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.

WHAT WE NEED
MUST-HAVES:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Driver License in good standing
- A minimum of three (3) years industrial maintenance experience to include mechanical, electrical, and PLC, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs
- Forklift Certification or ability to obtain certification
- Strong electrical and mechanical experience preferably in a food processing environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Frequently (more than 75% of time) required to: stand and/or walk, use ladders and climb stairs, bend and stoop, reach, push/pull, kneel and crouch. Lift, carry and/or move items up to 100 pounds, without assistance; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls, to verbally communicate; and to hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently exposed to a non-climate controlled environment.
- Frequently (more than 75% of time) exposed to dust and loud noise.
- Frequently (more than 75% of time) exposed to machinery and mechanical, moving parts.
- Personal protective equipment, such as hearing protection, safety glasses, hair net and food safety related items, is required.
