The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for assigning maintenance personnel and available resources, specific tasks and ensuring maintenance tasks are completed on time.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Adherence to Group 14 Technology safety policies when assigning work orders to specific crafts.
- Create Maintenance work orders as required.
- Review and assign all work orders, with safety items being addressed first, then all other maintenance-related tasks, to the proper craft (Electrical on Mechanical).
- Develop PM and PdM (Preventative and Predictive) maintenance plans from maintenance team direction- mainly from Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager and Engineering.
- Review backlog work orders and re-assign to proper craft.
- Manage spare parts to ensure availability- inventory management, ordering (MRO).
- Create kits with parts needed to complete work orders.
- Upload new equipment information into CMMS to create new assets.
- Track repeated equipment failures to provide information for RCAs (Root Cause Analysis).
- Schedule/coordinate contractors when needed for specific tasks.
- Generate reports to keep maintenance management informed of progress and areas that are lagging.
- Gather and organize information pertaining to PSM work orders.
- Ensure all work orders assigned to each craft, identify permits required (i.e. Hot Work, Confined Space, Safe Work Permit), etc.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate all activities to be completed during plant shutdowns.
- Other Duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Ability to work and collaborate in a TEAM Environment, with professionalism.
5-8 years of experience Planning/Scheduling in a manufacturing environment for:
- Managing the review of all work orders and assigning specific craft to the tasks.
- Managing Preventative and Predictive Maintenance Plans to ensure these tasks are assigned and completed.
- Procurement of parts required for each work order.
- Plant Shutdown Planning to ensure parts are available on time.
- Develop parts kitting for shutdown tasks.
5-8 years of CMMS experience (SAP, eMAINT, Micromain, MaintainX, etc.), including:
- Parts procurement and inventory management.
- Adding equipment to the CMMS- Asset management.
- Updating equipment data in the CMMS to ensure accuracy of installed assets.
- Organize and secure equipment maintenance records for Regulatory Compliance.
OTHER QUALITIES WE'D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
- Specialized courses or certificates in Maintenance Repairs, Planning Preventative and Predictive Maintenance.
- Management of Change (MOC) experience for assets being modified.
The base pay range for this position is $43/hr - $52/hr. All positions come with a bonus plan and company stock options. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.
