General Purpose of the Position:
Our client is seeking a Maintenance Planning Coordinator to assist in maintaining the planning and coordination of preventative and corrective maintenance activities. This role manages the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure compliance with the company’s maintenance policies and regulatory requirements (OSHA, County, State, Federal). The Maintenance Planning Coordinator will support operational teams and manage vendor relationships, ensuring the maintenance program aligns with company standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage vendor relationships to ensure compliance with company standards.
Schedule and maintain vendor access compliance through orientations and protocols.
Solicit vendor proposals and bids for maintenance contracts and capital projects.
Utilize the ERP system to manage asset tracking and maintenance schedules.
Assist with maintaining task logs and create assets as new equipment is commissioned.
Review vendor invoices and verify maintenance completion for payment approvals.
Provide administrative support for maintenance plans, document development, and updating lists.
Initiate contract review and renewal processes, assisting with negotiations as needed.
Other Duties:
Respond to after-hours emergency scheduling requests as necessary.
Conduct occasional site walks to ensure standards are met and report issues.
Travel regionally to assist with operational requests and ERP development projects.
Required Job Skills:
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to make independent decisions and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management or ERP systems.
Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including but not limited to feeders, transformers, generators, UPS systems, PDU units, CRACs, and fluid coolers.
Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements and the ability to interpret building drawings and schematics.
Computer Equipment and Software:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management or ERP systems.
Education and Experience:
Certification: PMP, MMP, or related certifications preferred.
Education: HS Diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
Experience: 5 years’ experience in production, facilities, electrical, or mechanical maintenance planning.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and operate a computer.
Must occasionally lift and move up to 10 pounds.
Field/warehouse work may require approved Personal Protective Equipment.
