About the Job
Planning of all mechanical maintenance work such as installation, set ups, repairs and modifications to equipment. Communicate with all PCI departments involved in the planning of production processes. Create, update and maintain all preventative mainenance procedures. Create, update and maintan change over jackets. Assist Maintenance Managers and Supervisors with scheduling of maintenance activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.
1. Create, update and distribute changeover documentation.
2. Create, update and distribute preventative maintenance documents.
3. Manage a daily and monthly maintenance schedule for maintenance changeovers, repairs and production support.
4. Work with the Scheduling Department to ensure the Production Schedule is accurate. Work to reduce changeovers whenever possible.
5. Attend Tier II Daily Directional Setting meetings and provide follow-up and feedback as needed.
6. Analyze equipment failures to improve overall reliability of the equipment, while maintaining productivity.
7. Update setup documentation to insure all settings are current and accurate.
8. Work with The Busisness Units and Scheduling to accurately maintain a timeline for any launches or validations of products.
9. Manage and prioritize the backlog of all maintenance work.
10. Communicate with The Business Units for maintenance setup materials and other component sample requests.
11. Work with the tool crib and engineering to ensure accuracy and tool modifications.
12. Actively participate in value stream activities.
13. Manage and complete change control.
14. Adhere to all PCI and cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
15. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
16. Attendance to work is an essential function of this job.
17. Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Working towards a degree in a related field
* Must have college level mathematical skills.
* Must have the ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.
* Must have the ability to speak in a way that allows one to participate effectively in various conversations.
* Must have the ability to read various types of standard items addressed to general readers.
* Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization.
* Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.
* Must be physically capable to perform the above duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
