We are seeking an experienced Permanent Maintenance and Reliability Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is an integral part of our operations, ensuring the smooth running of our manufacturing processes by minimizing downtime and maximizing the effectiveness of our equipment. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing maintenance and reliability programs, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for continuous improvement. Experience with SAP and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) is crucial.
Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance and Reliability Engineering Manager, your duties will include:
1. Developing and implementing a comprehensive maintenance strategy that maximizes asset reliability, performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
2. Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of maintenance engineers and technicians.
3. Utilizing SAP maintenance module to monitor and manage maintenance activities and equipment performance.
4. Implementing and overseeing a Reliability Centered Maintenance program, ensuring that maintenance tasks are focused on improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime.
5. Conducting root cause analysis of equipment failures and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
6. Working closely with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities align with production schedules and business objectives.
7. Continuously reviewing and improving maintenance processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Managing the maintenance budget, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively.
9. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with SAP and Reliability Centered Maintenance.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to a variety of audiences.
7. A solid understanding of safety and environmental regulations in the manufacturing industry.
8. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
9. A proven track record of improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime.
10. A strong focus on customer service, with the ability to work closely with other departments to meet business objectives.
