Maintenance Sales Representative - United Mechanical

United Mechanical is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a self-starter seeking a rewarding career with significant earnings potential and advancement limited only by performance. As a Maintenance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling maintenance agreements to key executives in the commercial marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will implement a proactive sales cycle by:
- Prospecting for new customers
- Setting appointments
- Conducting initial concept meetings to explain the benefits of maintenance
- Performing facility analyses, including surveys of mechanical equipment
- Pricing maintenance agreements
- Conducting financial analysis benchmarking
- Generating proposals and contracts
- Leading final solution meetings to close new business
- Handover of new contracts to operations
- Ensuring proper routine check-ins with customers
- Other duties as assigned
Support and Resources:
You will receive robust support from the company, including:
- Formal training on all aspects of your role
- An assigned mentor for regular check-ins and strategy meetings
- Access to prospecting lists and systems
- Tools, safety equipment, and field personnel as needed for surveys
- Proprietary software to assist with pricing, financial analysis, proposals, and contracts
- Support from upper management through weekly check-ins to review and plan
Additional Responsibilities:
You will also identify and pass on other sales opportunities to different departments and assist in any capacity that supports existing customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in mechanical contracting or maintenance services.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

- Compensation: $50,000 base pay plus expected annual commission of additional $50,000-$100,000.
