The ARM Group is seeking to hire a full-time opportunity for a Maintenance Shift Lead at one of our premier clients in Barnwell, SC .
Shift Schedule:
· 12-hour rotating shifts, covering days, nights, and weekends.
· 14 shifts within a 28-day cycle.

Purpose of the Job:
As a Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in supporting manufacturing by efficiently addressing and repairing breakdowns on all manufacturing equipment. You will lead shift technicians and collaborate directly with production shift leads to prioritize and address equipment repair needs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Communicate effectively with production employees to understand equipment issues.
· Assign resources efficiently to support all manufacturing departments.
· Diagnose and repair complex machine and process issues, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
· Timely and cost-effective equipment repairs.
· Accurately charge parts to the correct work order and cost center.
· Perform Root Cause Analysis on breakdowns to prevent recurrence.
· Communicate unresolved issues to the maintenance planner for preventive maintenance.
· Monitor equipment operation for potential issues affecting efficiency.
· Plan and execute preventive maintenance with the maintenance planner.
· Resolve complex issues with shift technicians.
· Participate in pre-/post-shift turnover meetings.
· Document and log all production equipment downtime accurately.
· Drive reduction of equipment downtime on assigned shifts.
Professional Experience:
· Minimum five years of experience in Manufacturing Maintenance.
· Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical drive systems, and electrical controls.
· Desired experience or willingness to learn PLC, Servo Drives, VFDs, and process controllers.
Education and Specialized Skills Profile:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; a two-year degree in mechanical or electrical technology preferred.
· Basic computer skills for work order and parts management programs.
Environment and Behavioral Profile:
· Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
· Capacity to work in environments with elevated temperatures and dusty conditions.
· Excellent leadership skills for managing maintenance technicians and setting shift priorities.
· Collaborative skills to work with production shift leads to resolving manufacturing issues.
· Technical support skills to help production evaluate process issues.
Linguistic Profile:
· While diversity of languages is embraced, most communication will be in English.
Mobility/Physical Requirement Profile:
· Work location: Barnwell, SC, in a manufacturing environment.
· Ability to stand for a full shift, perform climbing, walking, squatting, kneeling, or driving lift truck duties.
· Occasional lifting of components up to 50 lbs.
· Frequent sitting, walking, talking, hearing, handling objects, tools, or controls, and reaching with hands and arms.
· Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
· Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
· Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, wet/humid conditions, temperature extremes, dust, fumes, traffic, chemicals, electrical shock risk, and vibration.
Rotating schedule covering 12-hour shifts, days, nights, and weekends.

· Internal: PT, FUB, KT, Maintenance, Shipping, and Administration.
· External: Vendors, Suppliers, Service Contractors, and other client plants.
