Experienced Maintenance Supervisor for Historic, High Rise in Norfolk, VA.
A prestigious property management company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the operations of a high rise apartment community in Norfolk, VA.
Ideal Candidate Profile: The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing high rise properties and possess strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire a team towards achieving excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster positive resident relations by delivering exceptional customer service.
- Oversee and participate in the day-to-day operations of the property.
- Supervise the maintenance department to ensure the property’s upkeep and appearance is maintained to the highest standards.
- Develop and implement effective preventative maintenance schedules.
- Plan and organize maintenance task.
- Lead, train, and develop maintenance staff, ensuring motivation and high performance.
- Respond to maintenance request.
- Conduct safety inspections.
- Monitor and control expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- On Call emergency, after hours, weekends required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in high rise property management.
- Strong leadership and team management skill.
- HVAC certification
