What you'll do:

Team Coordination:Overseeand guide a team ofmechanics, electricians, machinists, millwrights, and machine operators. Oversee training, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a culture of safety, production management, and teamwork.

Safety and Efficiency: Ensure adherence tosafety standardsand company policies. Schedule and coordinatemaintenance activitiesto minimize downtime and maximize productionthroughputand efficiency.

Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implementpreventive and predictive maintenance programsto minimize equipment downtime and optimizemanufacturing operations.

Troubleshooting and Repairs: Address breakdowns promptly, troubleshootmechanicalandelectrical equipment malfunctions, and perform timely repairs to minimize production interruptions.

Documentation and Reporting: Document standard work and best practices, maintain accurate records ofmaintenance activities, and prepare reports on maintenance performance, including downtime, repair costs, and equipment reliability.

Process Improvement: Collaborate with production andoperations managementteam members to identify and address equipment issues and explore opportunities forprocess improvementsand cost-saving initiatives.

Statistical Process Control: ApplySPC methodsto monitor, control, and optimize production quality and efficiency.

Stay Updated: Keep up with technological advancements and industry trends inmanufacturing machineryandmaintenance practices.
What you need:
- Associate degree from a technical trade school or a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years of relevantmaintenanceexperience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience inmaintenance supervisionwithin ahigh-speed manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge ofmechanical andelectrical systems, andmachine operating equipment.
- Ability to operate in alean manufacturing environmentusing tools like 5S and othercontinuous improvement methods.
- Extensive experience withAllen-Bradley PLCsand related programming software.
- Proficiency inlean manufacturingandcontinuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpretelectrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams for maintenance tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strongproblem-solvingandanalytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency inmaintenance management softwareand Microsoft Office Suite.
