Job Title:         Maintenance Supervisor

Job Dept:         Maintenance

Reports To:     Maintenance Manager – Plant Manager

Responsible for the maintenance of the Bensenville or Estes manufacturing facility and supervising the multi-craft maintenance team.

·         Assign work to the maintenance personnel on all shifts.

·         Purchase equipment and maintain spare parts inventory.

·         Train and coach maintenance employees.

·         Able to work with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment.

·         Program and troubleshoot plant control systems (PLC’s).

·         Maintain plant computerized maintenance management system.

·         Manage capital projects and contractors.

·         Troubleshoot plant processing and packaging equipment.

·         Fill in and assist other departments as needed.

Education: 

A 4-year Technical or Engineering degree or equivalent work experience. 

Experience: 

Technical Requirements:  Microsoft Word, Excel and/or Access. RSLogix 500 and 5000 experience. Be familiar with PanelBuilder32 software and maintenance management programs. Working knowledge of Ethernet, communication networks. Electrical diagnoses, Mechanical experience. Hayssen and Triangle packaging machine experience. 5+ years maintenance supervisor/manager experience in a high-speed food-manufacturing environment.
