The Role
The Maintenance Supervisor will provide day-to-day operational leadership for the maintenance technician staff. This individual will serve as the liaison between the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Technicians, supporting all manufacturing labs, warehouses, facility utilities and administrative operations, and ensuring the timely execution of maintenance services across the plant.
They will execute and ensure preventive maintenance and work order schedules are completed safely and on time as planned by Maintenance Senior Planner. They will ensure all maintenance work adheres to standard procedures, facility permits and work instructions.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Supervise all maintenance activities for the entire facility, include Formulated Products, Solvents, Thin Films, CMP, Facility Utilities and Warehouse operations.
- Manage contractor resources to supplement maintenance activities as required.
- Ensure and promote good working relationships and openness among Maintenance group.
- Responsible for 24/7 operation and maintenance of compressed Dry Air system, primary and secondary chilled water system, natural gas system, HVAC system, Fire Life Safety, and equipment. AC units\CRAC units at the MDF Room (Data Center), Process cooling systems, Electrical distribution system, Ultra Purified Water system (UPW) and Potable/Non-Potable Water systems.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager on off-shift callouts, including weekends.
- Review daily work orders and PM's through the SAP system and track facility equipment using SAP notifications.
- Maintain compliance with EHS Guidelines in the workplace, support and ensure the team follow safe work practices.
- Support Quality Audits
- Work with vendors/contractors to get facility standard materials and equipment for the different operations of the ability.
- Supply and file monthly graphs of the temperature readings in all areas of the Finish Goods Warehouse (using facility Building Maintenance System)
- Work with Maintenance Planner to supply maintenance information on jobs scheduled for up to 2 days for production morning meeting.
- Assist contractors when they are working on or competing preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Minimize downtime on operations due to equipment failure.
- Understand and sign all facility permits to ensure jobs are completed in a safe and effective manner.
- Support Mesa Safety and Quality systems, as required through audits and improvements programs.
- Maintain on all equipment and material deemed as critical spare for the facility.
- Review and approve maintenance procedure changes for the Mesa facility in Compliant Pro.
- Complete assigned Audit Reviews as scheduled.
- Generate documentation such as Near misses, First aids, and Environmental reports.
- Working together with Senior Maintenance Planner on coordination and collaboration with different departments schedule and planning on non-standard preventive maintenance and repair.
- Document and complete action items as assigned in Lotus Notes and Compliant Pro.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Completion of trade school or apprenticeship as an electrician, HVAC Technician, Instrumentation and control, millwright, or pipe fitter. Bachelors in Science of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Maintenance field, preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Interaction with a CMMS system, SAP-PM a plus.
- Experience with Warehouse Operations / Spare Parts Receiving and Storage / Forklift Operation Cert is a plus.
- Demonstrated strong EHS compliance and Job Safety culture and modeling safety behaviors in others.
- Ability to lead teams and influence personnel, from operator level to management.
- Proficient use of computers and MS Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams.
- Strong communications skills required.
