Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and optimize the maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, a proven track record in maintenance management, and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring optimal performance.
• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset life.
• Reactive Maintenance: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs to restore operations efficiently.
• Equipment Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency through modifications or upgrades.
• Inventory Management: Maintain adequate levels of spare parts and maintenance supplies to support operations.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, controlling costs while ensuring optimal equipment performance.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations, conduct regular safety inspections, and promote a safe work environment.
• Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure maintenance effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance maintenance processes, reduce costs, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to support operational goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in maintenance management software (CMMS).
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
• Six Sigma certification or training.
• Bilingualism (English/Spanish).
