Manufacturing plant looking to add to our Maintenance Team!
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for electrical and mechanical servicing of all aspects pertaining to top tier injection molding facility and efficient maintenance of production machinery and equipment, physical plant, utilities and grounds in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
Assists the Maintenance Manager in safely troubleshooting, repairing, and executing all preventative maintenance tasks on injection molding machine related equipment.
Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):
Assisting the Maintenance Manager with the following:
- Overseeing maintenance of facility; oversee P&L for Maintenance department
- Directing the operations and maintenance of all machinery to provide uninterrupted service
- Analyzing machinery to ensure optimum effectiveness and proper maintenance
- Developing schedules and managing a preventive maintenance program to maintain production machinery and equipment in proper working condition
- Planning a continual work schedule to maintain all company property, thus promoting a safe and healthy work environment at all times
- Supervising and coordinating tasks of employees in the maintenance, electrical and mechanical operations
- Inspecting jobs in process and at completion to ensure the standards of workmanship and safety are maintained
- Ensuring proper maintenance of facility machinery and building
- Maintaining inventories of maintenance material, supplies and repair parts at required levels by initiating requisitions for purchase; periodically reviews inventory for proper upkeep at plant facilities
- Recommending, planning and implementing equipment needs to improve production efficiency and/or achieve cost reduction
- Guiding and managing outside contractors on in-house projects; ensures deadlines are met in absence of Maintenance Manager
- Reports to Maintenance Manager
Requirements:
- Must have 5+ years' experience in supervisory role over a maintenance department
- Experience in the plastic blow molding, injection molding industries, metal fabrication applications
- Financial expertise
- Must have 10+ years relevant maintenance experience
- Must have electrical knowledge, strong mechanical background, organizational skills and leadership ability
- Knowledge of automation is required
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations relative to plant operation and maintenance
- Ability to use hand tools in a safe manner
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and must be available to work on call as needed
- Must be flexible; able to work extended hours and weekends when required
- Perform general housekeeping
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
- Physical stamina and strength
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be able to read and write
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Must be able to work with all Managers and Supervisors
Schedule:
- Mon-Fri 7:00am-4:00pm
