About the Job
Work Location: Columbus, OH
Pay Rate: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 8 AM – 5 PM
- May require overtime
- On-call rotation required
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Maintenance experience or trade school education
- HVAC certification required (Type II preferred)
- Advanced knowledge and skills in electrical, plumbing, and appliances
- Driver’s License and valid car insurance
- Personal, reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient computer skills; comfortable with apps and software
- Basic hand tools or ability to acquire them
- Service mentality and a thirst for learning
- Positive, Can-Do attitude
- Excellent attendance
- Minimum of three (3) years of prior maintenance experience
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs
- Organize and assign daily tasks and general maintenance for the team
- Train, motivate, and mentor maintenance staff
- Schedule and manage outside vendors
- Complete inspections and schedule routine maintenance of equipment and vehicles
- Handle resident service requests in a timely manner
- Execute duties in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair
- Maintain awareness of property conditions; correct unsafe situations immediately
- Assist in keeping grounds neat and free of litter
- Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance and service requests
- Manage inventory and logs of parts and supplies
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of maintenance shop
- Maintain key control per company policy
- Provide on-call maintenance service as needed

Pay Details: $24.00 to $32.00 per week
