Maintenance Tech 3 - Injection Mold - Panduit

What You Will Do

The Maintenance Technician provides technical support to equipment, machinery, tools, and facilities equipment in a high technology level or with a high impact/critical level according to the requirements at this location. The main technologies at this location include injection molding and extrusion.

• Inspect machinery to diagnose malfunctions in equipment; repair and replace defective equipment.
• Test and repair malfunctioning production equipment/machinery and notify appropriate personnel.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance, help with improving our documentation and take ownership in making sure our equipment is functioning at optimal levels.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using electrical drawings, DMM, or PLC software.
• Maintain current knowledge and actively address safety and environmental issues.
• Understand mechanical systems and troubleshoot common issues all the way up to hydraulic systems.

What You Will Bring

• High School diploma required.
• Associates degree from a Technical College preferred.
• Apprenticeship or Journeyman experience preferred.
• 5+ years maintenance experience preferred.
• Mechatronics background: dealing with integrated sensors, robotics, PLC level troubleshooting skills, wire tracing, etc.
• Background in mechanical troubleshooting and repair of production equipment including high-speed assembly machines, automated packaging equipment, molding machines. and related molding peripheral equipment, etc.
• Good knowledge of mechanical system and various components.
• Strong electrical aptitude required.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and blueprints.
