POSITION SUMMARY:

Kingfisher Vacation Rentals is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Tech to join our team in Sanibel and Captiva, FL. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver, adept at diagnosing and resolving a wide range of maintenance issues to keep our vacation properties in top condition.

The Maintenance Tech will work independently and efficiently to handle various repair and upkeep tasks, from plumbing and electrical work to carpentry and painting. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship are essential in this role, as you will play a critical part in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will collaborate with other departments to prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are must-haves for this fast-paced position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vacation rental properties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general handyman work
• Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address potential maintenance problems proactively
• Collaborate with housekeeping and operations teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and guest-ready
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and supply inventories

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in property maintenance, repairs, and general handyman work
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and fix a variety of maintenance issues
• Skilled in various trades such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Rate: $25
