Position: Tech 3 Maintenance

Location: HMMA Montgomery AL

Reports To: Facility Manager

Department: HMMA Engine Shop

Skill Level: Maintenance Technical Graduate or apprentice level skill

Position Purpose: Knowledge of machinery and lubrication.



Duties and Responsibilities:




* Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.
* Works safely and professionally.
* Use of tools and equipment for routine and non-routine lubrication functions.
* Check oil levels in oil storage areas.
* Daily filling and maintaining machine oil in all Engine production equipment.
* Changing / cleaning machine oil filters.
* Grease relubrication with manual and automatic dispensing equipment.
* Tracking oil usage for each machine and submit findings in weekly report.
* Replace roll on oil chiller unit.
* 5S the oil area to meet safety and environmental standards.
* Inspect oil chillers and panel AC units.
* Report discrepancies or conditions of production equipment.
* Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Leadec Manager.

* Capability to work in an unsupervised position effectively.
* Basic math and computer skills.
* A fundamental understanding of mechanical, hydraulic circulating systems operation, contamination control and maintenance functions.
* Demonstrate initiative and strong work habits.
* Basic maintenance skill.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:




* Skilled in basic computer operation to use Microsoft Office programs to create reports.
* Ability to operate manual or air assisted lubricant dispensing equipment.
* Ability to fill and operate a grease gun.
* Ability to remove and replace machinery filter system elements.
* Ability to correctly check and top-off reservoirs using either automatic or manual methods.

Requirements:


* Maintenance Technical Graduate or apprentice level skill
* Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
* Basic computer skills.
* Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is high). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces from 4 -12 hours.
* Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push or pull up to 100 lbs., ascend and descend steps or ladders; bend or kneel.
* Must pass post-offer background check and drug test.
* Working times are weekly day shifts working 10 hours per day up to 60 hours per week. Weekend work required working alternate weekends
