Maintenance Tech: Night Shift
Are you passionate about keeping machinery running smoothly and ensuring a safe work environment? Our customer is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Maintenance team! In this hands-on role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our state-of-the-art proprietary equipment, including Extrusion Blow Molding machines, Stretch Blow Molding machines, Injection Molding machines, and automated palletizers.
HOURS: 6pm-6:30am ($1.00 shift differential)

What You'll Do:
- Equipment Installation and Preventative Maintenance
- Set Up & Optimize: Be the go-to expert for setting up and conducting regular preventive maintenance tasks to ensure our machinery operates at peak performance.
- Enhance Performance: Make adjustments as needed to meet specific production requirements, ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.
- Predictive Maintenance
- Stay Ahead of Issues: Utilize cutting-edge predictive maintenance methodologies, including condition monitoring and diagnostic tools, to identify potential issues before they disrupt production.
- Assess Equipment Health: Leverage your technical expertise to monitor and evaluate the health of our machinery.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs
- Diagnose & Resolve: Use a systematic approach to diagnose technical problems in our molding machines, getting to the root of the issues quickly and accurately.
- Collaborative Solutions: Work closely with technical experts and employ effective troubleshooting techniques to address routine challenges, restoring equipment functionality promptly.
- Facility Maintenance Support
- Team Collaboration: Assist in general facility maintenance tasks, contributing to a safe and organized working environment.
- Enhance Workplace Safety: Partner with the facilities team to maintain a well-kept production area that supports seamless operations.
- Timely and effective repair of equipment.
- Maximize MP2 data input with a goal of 80% labor hours recorded.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; a 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
Skills:
- Knowledge of Industrial Maintenance Safety.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with 3-phase power, low voltage, and industrial controls.
- Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- The physical demands for this position include:
- Regularly standing, walking, and reaching.
- Occasionally climbing or balancing.
- Frequent use of hands for various tasks.
- Lifting up to 30 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
