The Welder and Fabricator-maintenance technician position provides support to the production line. This position also involves preventative and corrective maintenances in the manufacturing environment. This position requires additional employer provided training, certifications and onboarding time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


* Using hand and air tools
* Navigating heavy equipment
* Conduct basic problem solving
* Follow customer safety and quality requirements
* Ability to quickly analyze and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment
* Understand written job instructions


* Use mechanical and/or electrical schematic, sketches manuals, specifications, and written and oral instructions to troubleshoot and repair equipment
* Completing documentation of repair details as directed
* All other duties as assigned by Leadec site management

Position, Environment & Physical Requirements:

The job requires lots of walking. The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). The employee is frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surface from 4-8 hours. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to work in a wet and closed environment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Upper body strength is a plus.
