Reports To: Facilities and Maintenance Manager
Classification: Hourly - Non-Exempt
Shift: 1st Shift - (Monday - Friday Hours)
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will oversee the performance and maintenance of large production machinery and facilities.
Essential Job Duties:
- Performs preventive maintenance, inspections, and service on machines.
- Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
- Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
- Installs replacement parts for machines.
- Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
- Repair or replace machine components quickly and efficiently.
- Prepares reports documenting work performed.
- Cleans, organizes, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education:
- Some vocational or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience, required.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Experience with CNC wiring and repair.
- PLC trouble shooting
- General working knowledge of plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine wiring.
- Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
- Works well independently and with others.
- Good communication skills.
- Organized with attention to detail.
Desired Experience/Skills:
- Machining & Fabrication experience.
