Job Title: Maintenance Engineer | $25-$33/HR | 1st and 2nd Shift Available
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to troubleshoot and repair a variety of chemical mixing equipment including grinders/mills, rotary equipment, conveyors, vacuum systems, pumps, and motors. The role involves both reactive and preventative maintenance, as well as general facility upkeep. The ideal candidate will be adept at reading blueprints and electrical schematics and will handle various tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot and repair chemical mixing equipment such as grinders/mills, rotary equipment, conveyors, vacuum systems, pumps, and motors.
+ Perform reactive maintenance primarily on 1st shift and preventative maintenance on 2nd shift.
+ Clean, lubricate, or adjust functional parts of machinery and control instruments.
+ Complete work orders through the maintenance system as assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
+ Read blueprints, electrical schematics, and engineered drawings from internal engineers.
+ Empty dust collection units multiple times per week.
+ Perform general facility maintenance as needed.
+ Change dies in milling/cutting machines for different production jobs (powders and pellets).
+ Execute other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
We have openings for 1st shift (7am-3:30pm) and 2nd shift (3pm-11pm, with a $1.50 shift premium). Currently, employees work around 50 hours per week, including Saturdays, which are reserved for preventative maintenance and projects. The work environment can be dusty in some areas, but respirators/face masks are not required. The company manufactures chemical additives for various industries, primarily rubber production.
